Adding video to our squeeze page

You will see the dashed line green box. This is where you simply can drop your content to build your squeeze page. High converting squeeze pages usually have a video as a intro to start off. Explaining what your squeeze page offer is all about. This could be a video explaining what you will be offering in a free video course, pdf course, free content or your paid offer. To do this I’m just going to drop in some dummy data. So on the left you will see a element called YouTube Video click and drag this into the green box as a first item. You should now end up with something like this.

Depending on what details you want for your optin you can choose a few options here. I would suggest for squeeze pages to ask for as little as possible. So to only show required fields check the radio button “Show only required fields”.

Once there click on Naked.

You should now see something like this.

Click inside the Copy/Paste onto your site box. Press Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C. You now have your embed code in your clipboard. Head over back to WordPress. Hover over your form and click the pencil icon to edit your form. You will get a box with some HTML already in there. Like this.

Paste your embed code in there to get your MailChimp opt in form in there. It should end up looking like this now.

Modifying the button text for my squeeze page

Just a Quick Tip: If you want to modify the button so that it says something else. You can do that by editing the HTML slightly. All you need to edit is this portion here.

<input type=”submit” value=”Subscribe”

The wording inside the value=”” is what you can modify for example. I am going to modify mine to say GET INSTANT FREE ACCESS NOW!. To do this I simply change it to this.

<input type=”submit” value=”GET INSTANT FREE ACCESS NOW”

And this is what I end up with.
